Update: CPD Program Variation - New credit points!

Please be advised CPD Program Approval (No. 1470) has altered slightly. In now falls under the following categories:

Category 1 Group Learning

Level 1: Passive Activities

1 Credit per hour (no maximum cap)

Activities providing information on knowledge and skills to improve clinical practice.

Confirmation of Participation is required

Category 2 Self Learning Activities

Level 1: Passive Activities

1 Credit per hour (maximum 10 credits)

These are self-directed activities in reading and learning through print, audiovisual and web media.

Category 3 Practice Assessment

Level 1: General Quality Assurance Activities

2 Credits per hour (no maximum cap)

Involvement in a planned quality improvement process provides learning opportunities

We feel these changes reflect more closely your participation and design of the course, and increases your allocation of CME points.

You will all be eligible for Categories 2 and 3 through your pre-reading package, MCQ's and feedback participation.

However you must physically attend each session to be awarded Category 1 points.
