Distance Education
A significant portion of the course is now to be completed via distance education. Students can view the reading material and watch the lectures online, and are able to ask questions in the perioperative medicine forum.
Each lecture lasts for approximately 45 minutes and can be viewed on demand.
The last weekend of the course will feature an extended intensive session, lasting over a long weekend. This will require the student to be physically present at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Victoria.
During this session, there will be case discussions and scenarios, as well as simulation sessions.

2010 Perioperative Medicine Short Course
